The Quinsy are back with the new album “Frivolous Songs”!

The Russian post-punks are ready to present their new album at the beginning of the year 2014. The album promises to be quite interesting as the band sound was slightly altered from dark and gloomy to somehow light and frivolous as you may have guessed from the album title. It’s worth noting that some songs from the album were previously played at band live shows so the fans should recognize them despite the completely new fresh sounding. “Frivolous Songs” also includes a few tracks written several years ago but never released before.
The Quinsy has been playing on underground music scene since the year 2001. During the lifetime the band passed a long and harsh way from electrowave to high-quality psychedelic post-punk. Still one can’t say The Quinsy sticks to specific style: the mood there varies from aggressive and sarcastic to somehow meditative and even romantic. Almost everyone will find something he or she likes while listening to this music.
